Where I stand

Where I am coming from

I operate between cultures, first as a Frenchman in California, now as a French-American in the UK, and somewhat of a foreigner in my birth country of France.

As an educated white cisgender gay man with an international background, I am in a privileged position to speak up. I see this as a responsibility.

Coming from somewhere else and identifying as part of the LGBTQIA+ community gives me a unique vantage point and the skills to empathize with other perspectives that do not quite fit the mold in this world.

I am uncomfortable with human disrespect and blatant injustice.

What I know for sure

I want to be a voice for positive change, acting as a nexus between different groups of people, and achieving outcomes that were previously thought impossible.

We impose imaginary limits on ourselves. We do not need anyone's explicit permission to implement thoughtful change.

I am most alive when people realize they have more agency than they think, and when something that has never happened before finally does because they decided to take action.

People are equal and deserve equal chances, whatever their gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic background, place of birth and citizenship, language, or any other label used to classify them.

I listen, empathize, and genuinely care about people's experiences.

What I stand for

A world where opportunity exists for everyone.

A world where organizations change from within, thanks to the people who build coalitions and make change possible.

A world where the quiet and ignored have a voice to counterbalance loud and extreme opinions, artificially amplified by dysfunctional algorithms rewarding provocation and outrage.

A world where major technology shifts, primarily AI now, are harnessed for good, to mitigate negative consequences.

This has to be intentional. It will not happen on its own.

How I work

I listen and make room.

I am convinced that the deepest transformations come from acting as a change agent from within. I identify what does not work in the human experience and bring people together to fix it, creating rapport with allies, supporters, and people who care, helping them contribute at their level, often behind the scenes.

I help others step up in their own way and find their own voice. I help develop leaders.

A call to builders

This is for the people who change things from within, the ones who build. The people who would rather make something happen than be seen making it happen. The people who would rather build than stand on the sidelines.

You don't need a title, a platform, or anyone's permission. You have more agency than you've been told, and more than you may believe.

I have been through this. I promise you it works. Trust it. That is how things that have never happened start to happen.

I can't do this alone, and you shouldn't have to either.
