Why I'm writing this

For years, I've done my most meaningful work quietly: building coalitions, driving change from inside organizations, and helping colleagues and friends discover they had more agency than they'd been told. Most of it happened behind the scenes, which is exactly how I like to work. But keeping all of it private has a cost. The person who builds something and never talks about it is, from the outside, indistinguishable from the person who never built anything at all.

So this is me starting to write in the open.

This site is where I'll think out loud about what I care about most: inclusive leadership, the agency we all have and do not use enough, and our ability to change an organization from within. I will draw on more than two decades in tech, from a global GPS brand in France to a Silicon Valley startup and enterprise scale. Some will come from leading my company's global LGBTQIA+ work. And some will just be me working through ideas that don't have tidy answers yet.

What's coming next: a longer essay on the road that brought me here, and a series of pieces on the themes above. Down the line, I'd like this to become a gathering point, not just writing, but conversations and small meet-ups with people doing this work in their own corners.
